We had a great Easter weekend with my family. I hadn't seen my oldest sister in over two years, so it was great for us to all get together (everyone from my immediate family was there except my brother's wife and their kids).
We had an Easter egg hunt and my sister Stephanie's house. Here are the kids (Corinne, Holden, Corbin, Carden, Bailey, Addie and Gretchen).
My mom brought these golden eggs that had a $2 bill inside. Each kid got one. Addie was excited! She came home and put the bill in her piggy bank-- who, sadly, died last week. She loved carrying her piggy around, dumping out the coins and putting them back in. But she dropped him pretty hard on the bathroom floor and it broke in pieces :(
She liked putting all the eggs in her basket.
And, of course, she enjoyed opening the eggs to see what was inside!
She was getting anxious to start!
Here is the best picture we could get after church. She doesn't look very happy because her morning nap was long overdue!
"Why, yes, I love this squeezable baby food!"
She was so excited to come down the stairs that morning and see what was in her basket! And she totally thought she got to have what was in our baskets, too.
