Well, since blogging seems to be back in fashion, we (or rather I) decided to jump on the bandwagon. It's been a busy semester so far. I started working for BYU SAS Creative Marketing in December. I do public relations for the Games Center and Dining Services. I get to write a lot of articles for MIX!, an online dining magazine. It's really fun. The site is dining.byu.edu/mix. Check it out. Jimmy is still working in a neuroscience lab on campus. He is taking a break from working at Portamedic (where he did life insurance exams) to study for the MCAT. He's taking the test on May 23 in Dallas, so we can visit my sister and brother and their new baby girls!
On Valentine's Day, I made Jimmy some delicious chocolate cake, thanks to a recipe from Martha Stewart. Then we fed the ducks at the BYU duck pond. They were very hungry. I don't know how they survived the winter. We got home and Jimmy finally pulled out some flowers, a heart-shaped balloon, sparkling pomegranate juice and a chocolate rose. I was so excited, since he'd been secretive all night.
We went to the Manti Temple on Saturday with our ward. It was beautiful and we even got to go on a tour. That night we helped out with our Stake Valentine's Dance, which was much more fun than we expected it would be. Who knew married people could still boogey down?
That's about it for now. We are loving married life and have a great ward.
