It's a layer cookie - the bottom part is just cookie dough, then you press in chocolate chips (or butterscotch or toffee, etc.) and top with this brown sugar meringue. My top layer didn't turn out quite as gooey as it was supposed to, but it was still tasty!

Looks so delish. I love new desserts to try. Post the recipe for the brown sugar topping.
Those Look Yummy...Hey you guys should come down to Emporia to visit this summer. We would love for you guys to come and visit.
Cami - The brown sugar part is the meringue and it's on that same page with the instructions. It's step 5 of the recipe.
They were delish and we ate them all in about 5 minutes! You make the yummiest things!

Those look so good! I will have to make those
I just made these! My mergine didn't turn out though... it was more of a soupy mess... I think it's because a little bit of the egg yolk got in the egg whites. We will see how it turns out!
mmmmmm, looks so good! Maybe I'll have to try these sometime this weekend... I'm sure my greedy waistline will be thanking you.
