24 Weeks and New Additions

Here I am at 24 weeks! No questions now as to whether or not I'm pregnant, haha.

We picked out a black crib from Babies "R" Us and put it together last weekend. It looks great! I can't wait to get the bedding so it will look a little more complete.

Last weekend I went to a baby shower from my friend Katelyn. Here is the group of the girls we grew up with: me, Amber, Katelyn and Tiffany. Three of us are pregnant right now and are due within a few weeks of each other!

Jimmy and I finally found the time to make this tufted headboard yesterday. I bought most of the materials months ago, so it feels great to finally finish the project! I got the idea for the headboard from Apartment Therapy. I love that website! Here is a link to the tutorial we used:

The covered buttons really make the piece. Here's another link to help for making covered buttons. That was by far the most time consuming part!

Jimmy was such a great sport to help me out with the headboard. I couldn't have done it without him. He's the best!

You look great!! I love that crib. We were looking at that one but then decided to go with a dark brown because it matches our stuff more. I can't wait to see what you do with the baby room

Very impressed with the headboard! Hard working, I wouldn't be able to take on such a project while pregnant.

Great headboard! I love apartment therapy. I haven't seen Tiffany in forever, she looks like she's doing well.

You're so cute! And that must be so fun that you and your friends are all pregnant together. Your crib looks just like ours only in black! I'm very impressed with the headboard! That looks soo cute! I'm going to have to check out that website.
